Pagham 3-0 Fareham Town
The Lions put Fareham to the sword.
Pagham playing a double header with Fareham Town from the Sydenhamams Football League were on their game from the off as Callum Overton was causing all sorts of trouble up front with his forward play, feeding off the probing runs of Scott Murfin.
Favours were returned as Murfin found the net on twelve minutes to put the Lions into the lead.
Only minutes later and Johan Vandriel fired over from a Scott Murfin free kick. Pagham were taking the game to their visitors, but always watching for the breakaway.
Pagham won a corner on thirty minutes Andy Chick sent the ball into the centre circle and the goalmouth scramble which followed saw the ball drop to Joe Booker who although on the ground managed to slot the ball home, sending the home side in 2-0 at half time.
Within minutes of the restart Callum Overton found time and space out wide beat a brace of defenders and rounded the keeper to slot home from a tight angle, giving the home side a well deserved victory.
Next up was the Reserve / 21 game and Fareham were the more prominent in the opening stages but were held at bay by the hard working home defence marshalled by Charlie Selby.
Ceri Marsh was working hard to get his attackers going and found Michael Robinson out wide who feed David Crouch who found the net shooting under the keeper on ten minutes.
Fareham managed to level the score on eighty minutes with a well taken shoot Tommy Tierney from the edge of the area.
